Cutting the Deficit
Our leaders must exercise common sense and learn from experience to help cut our deficit. The recent proposed budget cuts do nothing but cut out the middle class, the backbone of America. When you cut out the backbone the head will fall on the butt.
So, if these men -who are supposed to be educated are now dividing the country into two social classes the rich and the poor. If you cut out the middle class who is going to build our homes, our cars, teach our children, and protect the people.
It is the middle class that votes many of these leaders into office. It makes you wonder “what is going through their heads?” You leaders did not say this when you ran for office. Your pre –election platform and promises were not to cut benefits to get elected, but once elected you are eager to do so. Oh you double tongued deceivers with golden spoons in your mouth. If you want to cut the deficit increase the taxes on imports and companies who outsource jobs.
You do not cut the hard earned benefits that the middle class citizen has earned -what you cut is excessive, frivolous and just plain stupid government spending such as building bridges that lead to nowhere, fraud, etc.
The government is by the people for the people. It seems as the famous words of our late president John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country.” have been reversed. It is now time for you to ask “What can the country do for you, because we have sacrificed enough and have very little to show in return. And now some government leaders want to cut out our much earned and deserved benefits to help balance the budget or cut the deficit when it was their irresponsible and haphazard thinking and spending of our government leaders who have run up the deficit. We have asked what we could do for our country, but our country has not asked what they could do for you.
Our government needs to dictate to the corporations instead of the corporations who could care less about the American worker patriotism, and more of profit dictating to our government. Do not rely or give breaks to these people who really care nothing about patriotism only profits. You do not bail these corporations out because they will bottom you out. As soon as they got their money they soon forgot about the American citizen.
To the middle class, I say refuse to buy or do business with companies who outsource jobs.
should:
• Not waste American lives and money on fighting wars where we don’t belong. For example look at all the wars that were fought in Vietnam and Afghanistan was anything or has anything ever changed in these two countries.
• Call our loans to other countries past due and payable at once.
• We should never lend money to a country who cannot repay us.
• We are still the “Food Basket” that feeds the world- People must eat to survive- They do not have to drive.
If we do not have strong leadership who will stand up for the common American citizen we do not need these leaders- they will only lead us into despair.
One thing they may be correct on is cutting Military Defense because if you get your budget cuts there will be no need for defense for America- America will die within.
